About Us

We are a specialist communications management company providing services to barristers and associated professionals. Our mission is to provide a compelling range of high quality data and voice communications and electronic research products and services.

BarNet was established in 1999 by a small group of barristers who identified a growing need at the bar for technology services to support their work. BarNet is operated by BarNetwork Pty Limited (ABN 32 092 121 198), a not-for-profit corporation.

We have a small and dedicated team who are committed to what they do. We take the time to know our customers and to offer them services and solutions which make sense.

Continual improvement to our network, services and support is part of our commitment to our customers. We are able to to offer innovative and flexible technology solutions in a demanding and changing environment, because we invest time and effort into research and development and are always open to new ideas.

BarNet is a proud member of the Internet Industry Association (IIA), the Telecommunication Industry Ombudsman (TIO), and the Asia-Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC).
